Last Thursday i went to buy my fabrics for my S/S 2012 collection from the Goldhawk Road in London. I thought that the road would be relatively long with lots of fabric shops but quite spread out. Infact they were all jumbled together within the space of a 3 minute walk! One end to the other. This was fantastic as it meant not too much walking, and no worrying about having to walk all the way back to the next shop because the one your in doesn't have what you want. It was great! So after many hours of trudging around all the shops (about 20 in total) finding the right colour/textures/weight and prices in samples, we then had to go back around the ones we had decided on and finally buy them. Very grateful that my aunt was with me to help deliberate carefully which ones to buy. Could not have done it without her! The collection is moving along smoothly.
